Claflin Hosts Kentucky Wesleyan State in a Non-Conference Three-Game Series

Orangeburg, S.C.-- The Claflin University Panthers baseball team will host Kentucky Wesleyan College in a non-conference three game series this weekend, Saturday-Sunday, Feb. 27-28. First pitch Saturday's doubleheader will be 12 noon. Sunday's single game will have a first pitch of 1 p.m.

Claflin (4-11) are coming off of a three game series loss at Rollins College last weekend (Sat.-Sun., Feb. 20-21). Over the weekend Jabari Brown recorded five hits with two and Reginald Rogers had two hits, including a homerun, with three runs and two RBI's.

Michael Kendrick and Jabari Brown lead the team offensively batting average of .407 and .353, respectively.

Kentucky Wesleyan brings a 4-4 overall record into the weekend. Adam Brown leads the team in batting with a .400 average and Jeremy Cline is batting .381.

The Panthers will head to Savannah, Ga. next Tuesday, March 1st, to face the Armstrong State Pirates in non-conference game. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Armstrong Pirate Field in Savannah.
