Claflin University Baseball to Face Benedict in the HBCU Classic in Greenville

Orangeburg, S.C.—The Claflin University baseball team will face Benedict College, Friday, April 15, 2016 at Fluor Field, in Greenville, S.C. in the HBCU Classic presented by Michelin. First pitch for is set for a 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m.

This will be the fourth time the Claflin Panthers have participated in this game. Claflin was scheduled to play in the game last season (2015) but due to inclement weather, the game was cancelled. The Panthers last appeared in the game 2012 versus Morehouse College.

Prior to the first pitch, fans can enjoy pregame activities and entertainment. During the contest, the Drive will recognize local champions of diversity in the community. Following the game, fans can remain to enjoy Fluor Field's famous Friday Night Fireworks show.
