Willie Coleman had a terrific career both during and following his career at Claflin University. While with the Panthers, he earned all-conference honors in 1964. Following his terrific playing career at Claflin, he went on to have a career in the military. After his military career, Coleman returned to his athletic roots and he went on the spend three decades with the Washington, D.C. Parks & Recreation as a coach and official. He also spent 25 years as a high school official as well.
