From the Athletics Director…
As the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, I am proud to be a corporate member of the recently established Orange Maroon Athletics Scholarship (OMASA).
The Orange Maroon Athletics Scholarship Association (OMASA) was created for the following purposes:
- To promote and support Claflin University’s Intercollegiate Athletics Scholarship endowment.
- To solicit gifts to be applied to the Athletics Program at the discretion of the administration of Claflin University;
- To use such solicitation in accordance with the regulations established by Claflin University’s Board of Trustees, Southern Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (SIAC), the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA), and the Internal Revenue Services (IRS).
I invite you to join OMASA today to help us reach our first goal of raising one million dollars ($1,000,000) by year 2010 for scholarships.
Again, I solicit your support and prayers as Claflin University moves to the NCAA – Division II level.
