Lady Panthers, Panthers to Open 2022 Indoor Track & field Season at Gamecock Opener
COLUMBIA, SC - The Claflin University men's and women's track & field teams will return to action, tomorrow when the teams take part in the Gamecock Opener. The teams, which have not competed in indoor competition since February 17, 2020, will look to make a strong return to competition, Saturday.

Leading the way will be senior thrower
Zaria Nelson, who placed seventh in the women's shot put at the 2020 CIAA Indoor Track & Field Championships.
The Panthers and Lady Panthers are set for a 10:00 a.m. start with the women's weight throw. Track events are scheduled for an 11:00 a.m. start with the men's 60m trials.
