Claflin University is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II and a member of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) and associate members of the Peach Belt Conference (PBC). The Office of Compliance’s role is to provide support and guidance to student-athletes, coaches, faculty, staff, and boosters about the University, the NCAA and Conference(s) rules, policies and regulations. The Claflin University Office of Compliance is committed to the highest level of integrity throughout the athletic program.
The Office of Compliance also functions to educate, develop policies and procedures, as well as monitor and enforce the rules and regulations of the University, the NCAA, the CIAA and the PBC. All components within an athletics program must function properly and work together effectively and efficiently to ensure compliance. It is a shared responsibility.
