Claflin's Lee Named CIAA SWA of the Year
CHARLOTTE, NC - Claflin University Senior Associate Director of Athletics Matisse Lee added another honor to her collection when she was named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Senior Woman Administrator (SWA) of the Year, Tuesday afternoon.
Lee earned the honor, who was voted by her peers, as the CIAA SWA of the Year in recognition of her strides in the realm of athletics over the past academic year. Her accolades include earning Claflin University Employee of the Year and Administrator of the Year honors for her dedication and contributions on campus. Her efforts also included her selection to the Minority Opportunities Athletic Association (MOAA) Governance Academy. Additionally, she earned the privilege of serving as an on-stage personality for the CIAA at the Annual Tip Off Awards Ceremony and she also served a crowd favorite public address announcer at the 2024 CIAA Men's and Women's Basketball Championship Tournament.
