Claflin University Athletics Announces 2024-25 SAAC and Executive Officers
ORANGEBURG, SC - The Claflin University Department of Athletics announced the members of the 2024-25 Claflin University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Wednesday afternoon. With the mission of enhancing the student-athlete experience, the Claflin University SAAC is poised to assist in providing a student-athlete experience for those representing Claflin University.
In addition to announcing the members of the 2024-25 Claflin SAAC, the committee's executive board was also announced. Claflin junior Jaevon Riley was announced as the president of the 2024-25 Claflin SAAC while graduate Janelle Sample was announced as the vice-president of the 2024-25 Claflin SAAC.
Joining the executive board will be representatives from all the other teams at Claflin University. Breyanna Collins (softball), Katelyn Grissom (softball), Jemal Scarborough (baseball), Micah Shivers (baseball), Camden Easley (men's basketball), Michael Shuler (men's basketball), Kennedy Rivers (women's basketball), Jadah Rasool (women's track & field), Siri Davis (volleyball), Kaitlin Ham (volleyball), Sterlin Carson (cheerleading), and LaTricia Jones (cheerleading).
The mission of the Claflin University SAAC is to enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting opportunities for all student-athletes, protecting student-athlete welfare, and fostering positive images of student-athletes.
