Lady Panthers Post Solid Performance at 18th Annual Sand Shark Invitational

HARDEEVILLE, SC - The Claflin Lady Panthers had a solid return to the trails at the 18th Annual Sand Shark Invitational hosted by the University of South Carolina Beaufort. The Lady Panthers had some solid performances at the meet.
 
The Lady Panthers finished the meet with 280 total points to place 10th at the meet. Claflin freshman Camry Braxton led the way for the team when she ran 22:09.3 in the women's 5K run. Fellow freshman Jamiya Carter ran 23:01.9, just ahead of senior Jasmine Young who ran 23:02.1.
 
The Lady Panthers will return to action next weekend when the team heads to Spartanburg, South Carolina to take part in the USC Upstate Invite the Milliken Research Park.
