Lady Panthers Place Seventh at 55th Annual CIAA Women's Cross Country Championship Meet
SALEM, VA - The Claflin University women's cross country team placed seventh at the 55
th Annual Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women's Cross Country Championship Meet. As a team, the Lady Panthers totaled 165 points at the meet to earn their seventh-place finish in the women's 5K run.
The Lady Panthers had a mix of experienced runners and terrific freshmen to Claflin freshman
Kaitlyn McFadden led the way for the team with a 22:48.8 to place 26
th. Junior
Jasmine Young placed 30
th when she ran a 23:02.9. Fellow freshman
Jamiya Carter rounded out the top three finishers for the Lady Panthers when she placed 32
nd with a 23:12.6.
