Hutcherson Named Food Lion CIAA Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week

HowVante Hutcherson was named the Food Lion Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.
Hutcherson, from Richmond, Virginia, had a terrific week for the Panthers who posted a 2-1 record. It was on the defensive end where Hutcherson had his biggest impact. For the week, he totaled two blocks and a steal to lead the Panthers. He also pulled in 15 total rebounds, including 11 defensive rebounds.
The Panthers will return to action, Wednesday, when they host the Shaw Bears on Greek Night.
