Riley, Flemister Named USTFCCCA All-Americans
NEW ORLEANS, LA - On Tuesday, the United States Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its NCAA Division II Men's Indoor Track & Field All-American and there were a pair of Panthers among the best in the nation. Claflin juniors
Jaevon Riley and
Jonathan Flemister were both announced as members of the USTFCCCA NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field All-Americans.
The USTFCCCA honors student-athletes who finish in the top 8 of their respective events and relays at the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championship Meet with first team All-America honors while those who place ninth through 12
th individually or on a relay team that finished ninth or 10
th were named second team All-America.
Riley earned first team All-American honors after his terrific indoor track & field season. He reached the finals of the men's 400m run at the 2025 NCAA Division II Men's Indoor Track & Field National Championship Meet. In the end, he placed seventh in the event with a time of 47.83. With the seventh-place finish, he earned first team All-American honors.
Flemister earned second-team All-American honors for his efforts in the men's 200m dash. He placed 12
th in the men's 200m dash. He ran a 21.28 in the event prelims to earn the All-American status.
