Flemister, Riley Selected for 2025 NCAA Division II Men's Indoor Track & Field National Championship Meet
INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Claflin University track & field will take it's place on the national stage when Claflin junior sprinters
Jonathan Flemister and
Jaevon Riley were both selected to compete in the 2025 NCAA Division II Men's Indoor Track & Field National Championship Meet, Tuesday afternoon. The two earned their spots in the national championship meet after running among the top 18 times in the nation.
Flemister will compete in the men's 200m dash. He earned his spot by virtue of a 21.21 in the men's 200m dash at the USC Invite on February 22
nd. He will enter the meet with the 17
th-best time among the qualifiers and the third best time in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region. The qualification should come as no surprise to Flemister who was also honored as the 2025 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Year.
Riley will enter the meet in the men's 400m dash. He will enter the meet with the fifth best qualifying time. Riley ran a 46.88 in the men's 400m dash at the USC Invite on February 22
nd.
The 2025 NCAA Division II will be held on March 13
th - 15th at the Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion. The meet will be hosted by the University of Indianapolis.
