CHARLOTTE, NC - Last week, Claflin junior second base Aniyah Jackson led the team to four straight wins and for her efforts, she was honored as the Food Lion Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Softball Offensive Player of the Week.

It was Jackson's performance at the plate that garnered the honor for her. For the week, she recorded eight hits in 13 at-bats. She also finished the week with nine runs scored and six runs batted in (RBI). Among the hits were a double and a pair of triples.

Jackson and the Lady Panthers will return to action, tomorrow, when the team heads to Augusta, Georgia to take on the Augusta Jaguars in a non-conference doubleheader.
