Jackson Named to 2025 CIAA All-Conference Team
CHARLOTTE, NC - Claflin junior second base
Aniyah Jackson was named to the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) All-Conference Team, Wednesday afternoon. After a terrific season in the field and at the plate, she earned first team all-conference honors at the second base position.
Jackson took home the honor after a great season with the Lady Panthers. She started in all 42 games for the Lady Panthers and she finished the 2025 regular season with a .321 batting average. The effort included her recording 42 hits in 131 at-bats. Among her hits were six doubles, seven triples, and a home run. She made her hits count as she recorded 41 runs scored with 26 runs batted in (RBI). Defensively, she was equally impressive with a .967 fielding percentage that included 62 putouts with 57 assists in 123 total chances. She was also a part of five double plays.
The award was given to Jackson, as well as other CIAA honorees at the Batters Up Dinner on the campus of Claflin University.
After claiming the honor, Jackson and the other Lady Panthers will begin their pursuit of the conference championship at the 2025 CIAA Softball Championship Tournament.
