Knuckles Selected for 2025 NCAA Division II Women's Outdoor Track & Field National Championship Meet
INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Claflin University sophomore Jhnyia Knuckles was selected to compete in the 2025 NCAA Division II Women's Outdoor Track & Field National Championship, Meet. She will be the first Lady Panther to compete in the national championship meet since 2022.
Knuckles will compete for the national championship in the women's triple jump. She earned her spot in the meet after recording a 40' 6.25" (12.35m) mark at the 2025 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women's Track "& Field Championship Meet earlier this season.
She will be the first Lady Panther to compete at the national championship meet since 2022 when former Claflin thrower Zaria Nelson who placed 11th in the women's discus throw. With the effort, she also earned second team United States Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-American honors.
The 2025 NCAA Division II Women's Outdoor Track & Field National Championship Meet will be held at the Colorado State University-Pueblo Thunderdome in Pueblo, Colorado on May 22-24, 2025.
