Murry Advances to 800m Finals at 2025 NCAA Division II Men's Outdoor Track & Field National Championship Meet

Zion Murry made his mark on the national stage when he competed at the 2025 NCAA Division II Men's Outdoor Track & Field National Championship Meet. Competing in the men's 800m run, he placed eighth in the event and qualified for the finals of the event on Saturday.
Murry earned his spot in the national championship finals in a dramatic fashion. He ran a 1:49.45. He earned the eighth and final spot in the men's 800m run final by 0.01 seconds as the ninth-place finisher ran a 1:49.46.
With the effort, Murry will advance to the men's 800m run finals on Saturday. The event will take place at 5:00 p.m. at the ThunderBowl Stadium on the campus of Colorado State-Pueblo.
