Meadows Named CIAA Softball Rookie of the Week, Again
CHARLOTTE,NC - Claflin sophomore
Aryana Meadows earned her second Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) honor when she was named the CIAA Softball Rookie of the Week, Tuesday morning. This week marks the second time this season that the freshman has earned the weekly honor.
The honor comes after Meadows and the Lady Panthers rolled to a 7-1 record that included a 5-1 record at the 2026 CIAA Softball Round Up. For the weekend, Meadows posted a .524 batting average. She totaled 11 hits in 21 at-bats, including three doubles, a triple, and a home run. She also added six runs batted in (RBI).
