Simon Named to USTFCCCA All-Region Team
NEW ORLEANS, LA - Claflin University sophomore
Javonta Simon earned a spot on the 2026 United States Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Men's Outdoor Track & Field All-Region Team, Tuesday afternoon. The USTFCCCA All-Region Team recognizes the top five individuals and the top three relay teams in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region.
After a solid season, Simon earned his spot on the USTFCCCA All-Region Team in the men's high jump. He earned the spot after recording a season-best 6'8.25" (2.04m) mark at the 2026 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championship Meet where he took first place.
