Jackson Named to NFCA All-Region Team
ORANGEBURG, SC - The honors just keep coming in for Claflin University senior second base
Aniyah Jackson. On Thursday, she earned a spot on the National Fastpitch Coaches' Association (NFCA) All-Region Team. The honor is another in a line of honors for Jackson who is closing her career on several high notes.
Jackson earned her spot on the all-region team after a stellar offensive season. She is currently carrying a .455 batting average with 61 hits in 134 at-bats, including 15 doubles, nine triples, and three home runs. She has made the runs count as she has totaled 53 runs scored with 35 runs batted in (RBI).
In addition to earning NFCA Second-Team All-Region honors, Jackson was also a Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) First Team All-Conference selection.
