Coverson-Springs Places Fifth in Women's 100m Hurdles at NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Championship Meet

Morgan Coverson-Springs capped her dynamic season in style when she placed fifth in the women's 100m hurdles finals at the 2026 NCAA Division II Women's Outdoor Track & Field National Championship Meet. With the finish, she finishes the 2026 outdoor track & field season ranked fifth in the nation in the event.
Coverson-Springs posted a 13.38 in the event to earn the fifth-place finish. The time was a personal best for the Aiken, South Carolina native. The fifth-place finish comes on the heels of her earning a 12
th-place finish in the women's 400m hurdle preliminary yesterday.
With the finish, Coverson records her second top-five national finish in 2026 after placing second in the women's 60m hurdles at the 2026 NCAA Division II Women's Indoor Track & Field National Championship Meet. The fifth-place finish is the best Claflin finish since former Lady Panther Trisana Fairweather won the women's 200m dash national championship in 2016.
