Summers Named Claflin University Head Cheerleading Coach
ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The Claflin University cheerleading program is entering an exciting new chapter with the appointment of Jasmine Summers as Head Cheerleading Coach. Bringing nearly a decade of experience in stomp & shake cheerleading, Summers combines technical knowledge, passion, and a commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the floor.
Summers has spent nearly 10 years immersed in the sport, cultivating a strong foundation in stomp & shake cheer while building a reputation for leadership, mentorship, and empowering young women to reach their full potential. Her dedication extends beyond performance, emphasizing character development, teamwork, discipline, and academic success.
In addition to her cheerleading experience, Summers has developed strong organizational and leadership skills through her professional career and currently serves as the Administrative Coordinator for the Claflin University Department of Public Safety. Her familiarity with the Claflin community and commitment to student success make her well-positioned to lead the Panthers into a new era of excellence.
