2024: Ivan continued his career with the Panthers. His best 8K time of the season came at the 2024 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Men’s Cross Country Championship Meet where he ran a 33:00.7 to place 45^th at the meet.
 
2023: Ivan began his career with a strong freshman season on the Panthers program. He saved his best performance of the season for the 2023 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Men’s Cross-Country Championship Meet where he ran a 33:00.7. He also ran a 34:12.4 in the men’s 8K run at the 2023 Upstate Invitational.
 
Personal: Ivan joined the Panthers in the fall of 2023. He came to Claflin as a graduate of Airport High School where he earned several honors. He was a member of the third ranked 4x800m relay teams in the state. He was also ranked first in the region and fourth in the state in the boys’ 400m dash. He was a two-time all-region honoree. He also competed in football. He is an accounting major, and he is the son of Vanessa Vallellanes and Isaac Taylor.
