2025: Jada had a strong freshman season with the Lady Panthers. She finished the season with a .294 batting average, including five hits in 17 at-bats with a double and a home run. She finished the season with 13 runs scored and three runs batted in (RBI).
 
Personal: Jada joined the Lady Panthers in the fall of 2024. She came to Claflin as a graduate of Pike County High where she earned numerous honors. She was named the team’s Best Offensive Player in 2024 and she was named Team MVP for both volleyball (2023) and softball (2024). She also earned the Hustle Award and she earned a spot on the Veterans High all-Message Softball Team by the Troy Messenger. Her efforts weren’t held just to the court as she was also a member of the 4x100m state championship relay team and she earned the Best Jumps honor for cheerleading. Jada also earned several academic honors as well. Her softball and cheer teams both held the Highest Team GPA. She also earned a spot in the National Honors Society and the Junior Beta Club. She highlighted her high school career by earning the title of class salutatorian and she graduated with an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies degree from Enterprise Community College.  She is a Computer Engineering major and she is the daughter of Myra Duncan and Desmond Smith.
