2025: McKenzie played in 31 games with 30 starts for the Lady Panthers. She finished the season with a .217 batting average. She recorded 18 hits in 83 at-bats, including two doubles. She also had eight runs scored with 17 runs batted in (RBI).
 
2024: McKenzie played in 24 games with 22 starts. She finished the season with a .220 batting average. She compiled 13 hits in 59 at-bats, including a double. She finished the season with six runs scored with eight RBI.
 
Personal: McKenzie joined the Lady Panthers in the fall of 2023. She came to Claflin as a graduate of Lancaster High School where she earned several honors in multiple sports. She was named the Fred Hicklin Female Athlete of the Year and she won the Gracie Revels All-Around Athlete Award. She was a four-year letterwinner in softball and a three-year letterwinner in volleyball. She earned all-region honors in softball and volleyball. She was also named Most Valuable Player in volleyball. She was also an academic star as well as an athletic one. She graduate with honors and she was a Career Center Completer, an EKG Certified Technician, a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, and she earned a spot in the Beta Club. She is a Psychology major and she is the daughter of Sheritha and Kelvin Whitener.
