Biography
2023-24: Michael returned to the court for a great 2023-24 season. After returning from injury, he played in 24 of the team’s 27 games. He finished the season with 20 assists and seven steals for the Panthers. His best game came against Virginia State in the YES Virgin Islands Tournament. He also added five points in a game against the Shaw Bears.
2022-23: Michael missed the 2022-23 season due to an injury.
2021-22: Michael had a solid freshman season for the Panthers. He was one of only five players to play in all 27 games during the season. He made 14 starts for team as well. He finished the season with 87 total points, including hitting eight three-pointers. He also added 25 assists with 15 steals. He scored a career-high 13 points against Columbus State.
Personal: Michael joined the Panthers in the fall of 2021. He is a graduate of Woodland High School where he earned all-state honors and he was honored a player of the year. He was also a star in the classroom where he was an honor student. He is the son of Laveeta and Michael Shuler.
