Zecariya joined the Lady Panthers in the fall of 2022. She came to Claflin University as a graduate of Westlake High School where she had a terrific career both athletically and academically. She was a star in numerous sports at Westlake High. She was named Outstanding Senior Athlete in 2022, varsity softball MVP in 2019, girls track & field MVP in 2021-22, and she earned the varsity Volleyball Wolverine Award in 2021 and 2018. Academically, she was equally impressive where she earned a spot on the Principal’s Honor Roll from 2018-2022 and the National Honor Society from 2021-22. She also earned the Maryland State Certificate of Merit as well as the Charles County Public High School Certificate of Merit in 2022. She was named an AP Scholar from 2020-22 and she earned the President’s Award for Educational Excellence. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and she earned a spot in the Top 10 of her graduating class. She is a Biology major and she is the daughter of Shelette and Cody Fenwick.
