Alexis Hunter-Lonon enters her second season as the assistant coach with the Claflin University men’s and women’s cross-country track and field teams. Hunter-Lonon, joined the Claflin staff in the Fall 2019.
A 2019 graduate of Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Ga., Hunter-Lonon will work primarily with the jumpers.
Prior to coming to Claflin, Hunter-Lonon worked as an intern with the Kennesaw University Athletics Department. She also spent time as a track and field community coach with Cobb County High School.
Hunter-Lonon received her Bachelor of Science in Sport Management with a minor in coaching and is currently working on her MBA at Claflin.
She is a member of the US Track & Field and Cross-Country Association Coaching Mentorship Program (FCMP).
