Claflin Falls to Armstrong State in a Non-Conference Baseball Game

Savannah, Ga.—The Claflin University baseball team fell to Armstrong State, 10-3, in a non-conference baseball game in Savannah.  With the loss, the Panthers fall to 4-15 overall on the season.  Armstrong State improves to 9-6 on the season.
 
Jeturi Brown recorded one run with two hits, including a double, to lead the Panthers offensively.  Lyndale Morley and Clyde Parker also crossed the plate for Claflin in the loss.
 
Armstrong State finished the game with 18 hits and eight RBI's in the win.
 
Claflin will host St. Augustine College this Friday, March 4, in a non-conference game.  First pitch is set for 1 p.m. at Historic Mirmow Field in Orangeburg, S.C.
