Orangeburg, S.C.-- The Claflin University baseball team dropped to 0-4 on the season, losing to Lincoln Memorial University 21-4 at Historic Mirmow Field on Monday (Feb. 5).
The Panthers was led by
Eric McElveen with two hits and 2 RBIs.
Grayland Fowler,
Cleveland Westbrook and Chad Parker had a hit apiece.
Lincoln Memorial was led by Logan Augustin, Timmy Wages, Henry Moore and Grady Wright each with home runs.
Matt Mullenback was the winning pitcher for Lincoln Memorial, while
Jamal Devine suffered the loss for Claflin.
The Panthers will return to action this weekend, hosting host Virginia State University in a three-game series, starting Saturday (Feb. 10) with a doubleheader at 1 p.m. The series concludes on Sunday (Feb. 11) with a single game at 1 p.m.
