Proof of Vaccination Required for Attendance at Claflin University Athletic Events
ORANGEBURG, SC - In accordance with the policies of Claflin University, the Department of Athletics will be instituting a vaccination requirement for attendance at home athletic events. The requirement will begin with all home events beginning in the month of November.
To attend the volleyball match between the Claflin University Lady Panthers and the Winston-Salem State University Rams on November 4
th, attendees will need to provide proof of vaccination. For attendance at Claflin University Homecoming events, attendees must show proof of full vaccination as well as proof of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours. Attendees at the athletic events will continue to be required to wear facemasks during the events.
The first event to be affected will be the Claflin Lady Panthers' volleyball match against the Winston-Salem State Rams. Other significant home athletic events will include the 2021 Claflin University Homecoming doubleheader against the Voorhees College (S.C.) Tigers on November 20
th and the Paws Up HBCU Classic.
