Lady Panthers' Harrison Named CIAA Defensive Player of the Week

Ayanna Harrison was named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Food Lion Defensive Player of the Week. The senior from Tallahassee, Florida took home the honor after a terrific performance for the Lady Panthers last week.
Harrison took home the honor after a great effort as the Lady Panthers' libero last week. She totaled 33 digs for the team in a pair of wins for the Lady Panthers. She started the week with five digs in a three-set road win at Saint Augustine's, but she stepped up a big way with 28 digs in a four-set home win over Winston-Salem State.
Harrison joined the Lady Panthers in the fall of 2021 after transferring from Paine College. She is a graduate of A.P. Goudy High School.
