Claflin to Host Inaugural Coach Terrence "Tee" Jenkins Girls Basketball ELITE Camp

ORANGEBURG, SC - Some top-level basketball talent will take the court at Tullis Arena in the Jonas T. Kennedy Health & Wellness Center, Saturday when the university hosts the inaugural Coach Terrence "Tee" Jenkins Girls Basketball Camp. The one-day camp, which will feature some of the top girls' basketball talent in the area, will offer young girls in the area the opportunity to learn several different aspects of the game with some of the other players in the local area and beyond.
"This camp will give us the opportunity to reach out to young ball players near and far," said Claflin University women's basketball head coach Terrence Jenkins. "The lessons that they learn on this court can benefit them for a lifetime."
The camp, which is open to young girls who are rising 8
th - 12th graders, offer sessions that will teach several different skills. Young ballers will get a chance to learn footwork, ball-handling, and defense from the coaching staffs and members of the Claflin University women's basketball team.
"With our university's focus on transformation and elevation, this camp will give the campers a platform to elevate their game and transform themselves into the players that they want to become one day," Jenkins added.
The cost of the camp is $90 per camper with lunch provided. The Coach Terrence "Tee" Jenkins Girls' Basketball Elite Camp is set to begin at 9:00 a.m., Saturday morning.
