Claflin Baseball Announces a Thrilling 2024 Schedule
ORANGEBURG, SC - With an exciting spring just around the corner, the Claflin University baseball program announces the 2024 Claflin Panthers Baseball Schedule. The schedule will feature a thrilling slate of competitions with 50 games including 31 games at Historic Mirmow Field.
The Panthers will open the season with an exciting February slate of games. Opening weekend will take place on February 3
rd and 4
th when the Panthers host the Morris (S.C.) Yellowjackets in a three-game series. After a season-opening doubleheader on February 3
rd, the Panthers will close out the series with a single game on Sunday, February 4
th. The Panthers will also have home series against Carolina University, Erskine, and Bluefield State along with single-day games against Francis Marion and Lincoln (Pa.).
The team will open conference play in March along with several other great games. The team will begin Peach Belt Conference (PBC) at USC Aiken for a weekend series on March 1
st and 2
nd. The team will face the University of North Georgia for their first home conference series against the University of North Georgia Nighthawks for a three-day series from March 8
th - 10th. The team will also have road series at Augusta and Georgia Southwestern before closing the month with a home conference series against Flagler. The Panthers will also have some great non-conference match ups including facing Savannah State on the road and Voorhees at home on March 20
th. The team will also face the UNC Pembroke Braves at home as well.
In April, the Panthers will wrap up the regular season with a great set of games as well. The team will play at Francis Marion and a home game against Savannah State. The Panthers will continue conference play with a road series at Georgia College before home series against USC Beaufort and Lander. The team will close out the regular season on the road when they head to Columbus, Georgia to take on the Columbus State Cougars.
