FAYETTEVILLE, NC - The Claflin Lady Panthers (1-9, 1-6 CIAA) had a hard time finding their way in a three-set road loss to the Fayetteville State Broncos (10-2, 6-2 CIAA), Thursday evening. Though the Lady Panthers put up a great effort, the team could not get points on the scoreboard in the 12-25, 14-25, and 11-25 loss.
The Lady Panthers' offense had an especially tough night in the loss. As a team, the Lady Panthers totaled just 37 points in the match with 15 kills and 15 errors. The team was able to total 31 digs. Senior outside hitter

MeAuhre Lewis both totaled six digs in the loss. Junior setter
Siri Davis led the team with five assists and one total block (one solo).
With the loss, the Lady Panthers fell to 1-9 overall and 1-6 in Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) play. The team will return to action on Tuesday, when they head to Raleigh, North Carolina to take on the Shaw Lady Bears in a 6:00 p.m. match.
