LINCOLN, PA - The Claflin Panthers (5-5, 2-1 CIAA) saw their three-game streak ended, Monday when the team took a 64-50 road loss to the Lincoln (Pa.) Lions (4-4, 1-0 CIAA), Saturday afternoon. Zion Obanla continued to shine in his return to the court with a double-double 18 points and 11 rebounds in the game. Fellow senior guard Jailan Williams added 11 points and a rebound.
With the loss, the Panthers fall to 5-5 overall and 2-1 in CIAA play. The team will remain on the road for their next competition as they will head to the U.S. Virgin Islands to take part in the YES Virgin Islands Basketball Classic.
