Scott Named HBCU National Player of the Week

Lauren Scott achieved a new honor, Monday, when she was named the HBCU National Player of the Week by From Pressbox to Press Row. She took home the honor after a terrific week of play by the Lady Panther guard.
Scott earned the honor after a terrific week for the Lady Panthers. She led the team to back-to-back wins at Shaw in Raleigh, North Carolina, and an impressive home win over the Saint Augustine's Falcons. She had a great game at Shaw where she scored a game-high 26 points that included hitting the game-winning three-pointer with nine seconds left. She closed the week with 19 points to lead the Lady Panthers to a 75-61 win over Saint Augustine's. Her performance included hitting five three-pointers in the game.
