Three Panthers Named to Academic All-District Team
ORANGEBURG, SC - In addition to some terrific efforts on the diamond, the Claflin Panthers gave some equally impressive efforts in the classroom and on Tuesday, those efforts paid off when three members of the Panthers' baseball team earned spots on the Academic All-District® Team. The trio of senior outfielder
Kobe Miller, junior outfielder
Micah Shivers, and freshman infielder
Chase Thomas were all honored for their academic performances this season.
The 2024 Academic All-District® Baseball Team, selected by the College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their efforts on the diamond and in the classroom. The team recognizes student-athletes who have competed in a minimum percentage of games while maintaining a 3.5 or higher grade-point average (GPA).
