2024 PAWSUp Celebrity Soiree at Tremendous Success for Claflin University

ORANGEBURG, SC - The Claflin University Department of Athletics held the third annual PAWSUp Celebrity Soiree and the event was a tremendous success. With a mix of music, food, and fun, the event turned out to be the premier event of the summer in the Orangeburg area.
The 3
rd Annual PAWSUp Celebrity Soiree was held at the newly built Student Center on the campus of Claflin University. In addition to taking place in a spectacular venue, the event featured top celebrities from the National Football League (NFL) and Hollywood. Former Detroit Lion Robert Porcher and a former New England Patriot Ben Coates were both in attendance as well as former New Orleans Saints offensive lineman NaShan Goodard. Movie star James Moses Black was also at the event as well.
The soiree turned out to be one of the largest fundraising events of the year for Claflin University athletics. In addition to a terrific night in a beautiful venue, the 2024 PAWSUp Celebrity Soiree offered a great opportunity to support the students and student-athletes of Claflin University.
