Lady Panthers Picked to Finish Seventh in 2024 CIAA Preseason Predicted Order of Finish
CHARLOTTE, NC - The Claflin Lady Panthers just got some material for their locker room bulletin board, Wednesday when they were picked to finish seventh in the 2024 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Volleyball Preseason Predicted Order of Finish.
The ranking came after the Lady Panthers had a season with some struggles in 2023. Last season, the Lady Panthers finished the season with a 10-13 overall record and a 6-12 record in CIAA play. The team finished in ninth place in the conference and just outside of qualifying for the conference championship tournament.
This season, the Lady Panthers will enter a new era under the guidance of interim head coach Lauren Calvin. The Lady Panthers will return an experienced team that is poised to prove the predictions wrong during the 2024 season.
The Lady Panthers will kick off the 2024 season, Tuesday, when they host the Paine Lions in their season opener.
