Manning Places Fourth at 18th Annual Sand Shark Invitational
HARDEEVILLE, SC - After a bit of a break, the Claflin Panthers cross country team returned to action in a big way with some great performances at the 18
th Annual Sand Shark Invitational hosted by the University of South Carolina Beaufort. Claflin sophomore
Graysen Manning led the Panthers to a great day with a fourth-place finish at the meet.
Manning highlighted a terrific overall performance for the Panthers in the men's 8K run. He finished the meet in 25:13.7 to lead all NCAA Division II runners at the meet. Only runners from NCAA Division I Bethune-Cookman and South Carolina outpaced Manning at the meet. Claflin senior
Reginald Gore had the second-best performance for the Panthers when he ran a 26:59.0. Fellow senior
Jakarriez Sanders added a 29:00.1.
