Panthers Put on Strong Showing at UpState Invite
SPARTANBURG, SC - The Claflin Panthers looked in peak form when they competed at the Upstate Invite at the Milliken Research Park in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The team put on some solid showings in the team's final meet before the 2025 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Cross Country Championships.
Claflin sophomore Grayson Manning continued to lead the way for the team in the men's 8K run. He ran a 26:38.4 in the event. Senior
Jakarriez Sanders added a 28:17.1 while fellow senior
Reginald Gore ran a 29:31.8 at the event.
The Panthers will return to the course, Thursday, when the team heads to Salem, Virginia to compete the 2025 CIAA Men's Cross Country Championship.
