Panthers Place Fourth at 55th Annual CIAA Men's Cross Country Championship
SALEM, VA - The Claflin Panthers placed fourth in the 55
th Annual Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Men's Cross-Country Championship Meet. As a team, the Panthers totaled 96 points with three student-athletes finishing among the top 20 finishers at the meet.
The Panthers put up some quality times at the meet. Claflin sophomore
Graysen Manning paced the team when he ran a 27:13.0 to finish ninth at the meet. With the finish, he earned CIAA All-Conference honors for the second time in his career. Claflin senior
Jakarriez Sanders placed 13
th with a 28:33.2 to earn all-conference honors for the first time in his career. Freshman
Eureka Washington rounded out the top three Claflin finishers. He placed 18
th with a 29:20.7.
