Lady Panthers Picked Fifth in CIAA Preseason Predicted Order of Finish
CHARLOTTE, NC - The Claflin Lady Panthers will have a lot to prove as the team was picked to finish fifth in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women's Basketball Preseason Predicted Order of Finish. The prediction comes after their second straight winning season and consistently ranking among the top half of the conference.
The prediction comes after another terrific season for the Lady Panthers. Last season, the Lady Panthers posted a 15-11 overall record and a 9-7 record in the CIAA. The team completed the regular season ranked third in the CIAA Southern Division with a 6-4 record in division play.
This season, the Lady Panthers will return with an experienced team with a talented group of newcomers looking to improve on the predictions.
The Lady Panthers will kick off the 2025-26 season on November 16
th at NCAA Division I East Tennessee State. The team will open home court on November 18
th when the team hosts the Lynn Fighting Knights. The Lady Panthers will host the Morris College Hornets on homecoming on November 22
nd.
