Randolph Named to 2024-25 CIAA All-Rookie Team
CHARLOTTE, NC - Claflin University freshman center
Olivia Randolph was named to the 2024-25 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women's Basketball All-Rookie Team, Sunday evening. The honor was announced at the 2025 CIAA Women's Basketball Championship Tournament Tip-Off Banquet.
It was her efforts on the defensive end that really stood out for the freshman from Anderson, South Carolina. During the 2024-25 regular season, she played in all 24 games, and she started in 16 of them. She finished as the team's leader with 30 blocked shots and she is ranked fifth in the CIAA in blocked shots. She is also the team's third leading rebounder with 98 rebounds. Her breakout game came at Paine College when she recorded seven blocked shots in a road win. She also had four blocked shots at Benedict as well. Not all of her efforts have come on the defensive end as she also had a career-high 14 points at Palm Beach Atlantic.
Randolph and the Lady Panthers will open the 2024-25 CIAA Women's Basketball Championship Tournament at 12:15 p.m., tomorrow when they take on the Elizabeth City State Vikings.
