Fourth Annual PAWS Up Golf Classic a Tremendous Affair
ORANGEBURG, SC - For the fourth year in a row, Claflin University athletics hosted the biggest fundraising event of the year. On Thursday night, Claflin University hosted the Fourth Annual PAWS Up Celebrity Soiree and Golf Tournament. The spectacular two-day event was held in support of the student-athletes of Claflin University.
The classic kicked off in tremendous fashion with the Fourth Annual PAWS Up Celebrity Soiree. The event was a spectacular affair at the Claflin University Student Center. With performances by Moses Smith and The Promised Land Band along with great food and celebrity guests, the Soiree was a great opening to the weekend.
The classic carried over to the beautiful Wyboo Golf Course in Manning, South Carolina for the PAWS Up Golf Classic. With several teams competing for the top spot at the tournament, a day of fun was held and was capped off by some terrific food from Burgess BBQ.
Through the two events, funds were raised to provide scholarships and resources to the student-athletes of Claflin University.
