Panthers Kick Off 2025 Season with a Great effort at Furman Invitational

GREENVILLE, SC - The Claflin Panthers got the 2025 cross country started in a big way with some great performances at the Furman Invitational, Saturday morning. The Panthers put on a great showing while competing against several teams from NCAA Division I,NCAA Division II, and NCAA Division III.

The Panthers finished ranked eighth at the meet with 214 total points in the men's 6K run. Claflin sophomore Graysen Manning continued to lead the way for the Panthers. He ran a 20:56.47 at the meet. Freshman Eureka Washington added a 22:20.11 as well. Senior Jakarriez Sanders added a 22:51.80.

The Panthers will be back in action, Friday, when the team heads to Conway, South Carolina to take part in the Chanticleer Challenge.
