Lady Panthers Kick Off 2025 With Strong Day at Furman Invitational

GREENVILLE, SC - The Claflin Lady Panthers got the 2025 cross country season started in a big way with a great showing at the 2025 Furman Invitational. Running against some of the top teams in the south east, the Lady Panthers proved tp be up to the task with some great performances. 

As a team, the Lady Panthers totaled 245 points in the women's 4-mile run. Claflin freshman Kaitlyn McFadden led the way for the team. She ran a 29:29.59 in the meet to lead the way for the Lady Panthers. Fellow freshman Camryn Braxton ran a 31:43.36. Junior Jasmine Young added a 34:35.82 at the meet. 

The Lady Panthers will return to action, Friday, when the team heads to Conway, South Carolina to take part in the Chanticleer Challenge.
