CONWAY, SC - The Claflin Lady Panthers put on another great showing when the team took the course at the Chanticleer Challenge. It was the team's freshmen who led the way with some great performances at the meet.

Competing in their first women's 5K run of the season, the Claflin freshmen led the way for the second straight week. Freshman Kaitlyn McFadden had the team's best finish with a 21:51.24. Fellow freshman Camry Braxton added a 22:38.96. Junior Jasmine Young continued to have a great season when she ran a 23:51.63.

The Lady Panthers will return to action on October 11th when the team heads to Hardeeville, South Carolina to take part in the 18th Annual Sand Shark Invitational.
