ORANGEBURG, SC - The Claflin Lady Panthers (9-2, 5-0 CIAA) continued their great conference play when the team stormed their way to a 68-34 win over the Lincoln (Pa.) Lady Lions (3-13, 0-5 CIAA). The team put on a stellar defensive effort to claim the win.
 
Though the Lady Panthers defense stole the show, the team put on a solid offensive showing to claim the win. The Lady Panthers held Lincoln (Pa.) to just 34 points, including making just 10 field goals in the game. The Lady Panthers held the Lions to shooting just 17.5% (10-of-57) from the floor. Offensively, the Lady Panthers matched their defensive effort as well. The team shot a scorching hot 50.0% (26-of-52) from the floor, including hitting 11 three-pointers. Claflin senior forward Ashari Lewis led the effort with a double-double 20 points and 11 rebounds. She also added a blocked shot and three steals. Freshman guard Makailah Davis added 14 points with five rebounds as well. Junior forward Ryian Howard added a near double-double of her own with nine points and nine rebounds.
 
With the win, the Lady Panthers record their third straight win and improve to 5-0 in Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) play.
